Elizabeth Garver Jordan (1867–1947)

Jordan, Elizabeth Garver. An American author and editor; born in Milwaukee, WI, May 9, 1867; died in 1947. On editorial staff of the New York World for ten years and editor of Harper’s Bazar after 1900. Her published works include ‘Tales of the City Room’ (1898); ‘Tales of the Cloister’ (1901); ‘Many Kingdoms’ (1908); ‘May Iverson’s Career’ (1914).
