William Sloane Kennedy (1850–1929)

Kennedy, William Sloane. A well-known American biographer, story-writer, and poet; born at Brecksville, OH, 1850; died in 1929. His home is at Belmont, MA. He wrote lives of Longfellow, Whittier, and Holmes; ‘Wonders and Curiosities of the Railway: Locomotive Stories’ (1884); ‘In Portia’s Gardens,’ verse; etc.
