Leonard Kip (1826–1906)

Kip, Leonard. An American miscellaneous prose-writer, brother of William I. Kip; born in New York City, 1826; died in San Francisco, CA, 1906. Among his published works are: ‘California Sketches’ (1850); ‘Œnone, a Roman Tale’ (1866); ‘Under the Bells’ (1879); and ‘Nestlenook’ (1880).
