Nathan Chapman Kouns (1833–1890)

Kouns, Nathan Chapman (könz). An American novelist; born in Missouri, 1833; died in 1890. A lawyer by profession, he was State librarian of Missouri (1886–90). He wrote two historical romances: ‘Arius the Libyan,’ and ‘Dorcas, the Daughter of Faustina.’
