Alfred Henry Lewis (1857–1914)

Lewis, Alfred Henry [“Dan Quin”]. An American journalist and author; born in Ohio in 1842; died on Dec. 23, 1914. He was editor and founder of The Verdict (a humorous weekly), and author of: ‘Wolfville,’ ‘Episodes of Cowboy Life,’ ‘Sandburrs’ (1900).
