Lewis, ‘Margaret Cameron.’ An American author, musician and dramatist; born in Ottawa, IL, Dec. 21, 1867; died in 1947. Among her published works are ‘Comedies in Miniature’ (1903); ‘The Cat and the Canary’ (1907); ‘The Bachelor and the Baby’ (1908); ‘The Involuntary Chaperon’ (1909); ‘The Pretender Person’ (1911), and several one-act comedies, which include ‘The Burglars’ (1904), and ‘The Teeth of the Gift Horse’ (1909).
