Lippmann, Julie Mathilde. An American writer of verse and juvenile literature; born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1864; died in 1952. She is the author of ‘Through Slumbertown and Wakeland’; ‘Jock o’ Dreams,’ a collection of short stories; and ‘Miss Wildfire’; ‘The Facts in the Case’; ‘Martha By-the-Day’ (1912); ‘Making Over Martha’ (1913); ‘Martha and Cupid’ (1914).
