John Alexander Logan (1826–1886)

Logan, John Alexander. An American general and statesman; born in Jackson County, IL, 1826; died in Washington, DC, 1886. He distinguished himself both in the field and the forum. He published: ‘The Great Conspiracy’ (1866); ‘The Volunteer Soldier of America’ (1887).
