Alejandro Magariños Cervantes (1825–1893)

Magariños Cervantes, Alejandro (mä-gä-rēn’yōs ther-vän’tes). A Uruguayan miscellaneous writer; born in Montevideo, 1825; died in 1893. He wrote: ‘Historical Studies on the River La Plata’; ‘Church and State’; several volumes of poems; etc.
