Pierre Mille (1864–1941)

Mille, Pierre. A French author; born at Choisy-le-Roi in 1864; died in 1941. He introduced many of the works of Kipling and H. G. Wells to French readers. He wrote ‘Sur la Vaste Terre’ (1905); ‘Barnavaux et Quelques Femmes’ (1908); ‘La Biche Ecrasée’ (1910); ‘Paraboles et Diversions’ (1913); ‘Le Monarque’ (1914).
