Nicholson, Meredith. An American author; born in Crawfordsville, IN, Dec. 9, 1866; died in 1947. Among his published works are ‘Short Flights,’ poems (1891); ‘The Hoosiers’ (1900); ‘The Main Chance’ (1903); ‘The House of a Thousand Candles’ (1905); ‘The Port of Missing Men’ (1907); ‘The Siege of the Seven Suitors’ (1910); ‘Hoosier Chronicle’ (1912).
