Anna de Noailles (1876–1933)

Noailles, Comtesse Mathieu de (nō-ä’ē). A French novelist and poet, born at Paris, in 1876; died in 1933. Her poems include: ‘Le Cœur Innombrable’ (1901); ‘L’Ombre des Jours’ (1902); ‘Les Vivants et les Morts’ (1913). ‘La Nouvelle Espérance’ (1903); ‘Le Visage Emerveillé’ (1904); ‘La Domination’ (1905) are novels.
