Thomas Noel (1799–1861)

Noel, Thomas. An English poet; born in 1799; died in 1861. He published several volumes of verse, among them ‘Rhymes and Roundelayes’ (1841), in which is the poem ‘The Pauper’s Drive,’ often erroneously attributed to Hood.
