Joannes Nomsz (1738–1803)

Nomsz, Joannes (nomz). A Dutch playwright and poet; born at Amsterdam, 1738; died in 1803. His most popular work is ‘Maria van Lalain’ a tragedy; ‘Zoroaster’; and a poem (1779) of which William I. of Orange is the hero.
