Henry Norman (1858–1939)

Norman, Henry, Sir. An Anglo-American journalist and author; born at Leicester, England, Sept. 19, 1858; died in 1939. Educated at Harvard University; was a member of Parliament after 1900. Besides contributions to magazines he wrote: ‘The Broken Shaft’ (1886); ‘The Witching Time’ (1887); ‘The Real Japan’ (1892); ‘Peoples and Politics of the Far East’ (1895); ‘Motors and Men’ (1910).
