James Macdonald Oxley (1855–1907)

Oxley, James Macdonald. A Canadian lawyer and author; born in Halifax, NS, Oct. 22, 1855; died in 1907. Among his numerous published works are: ‘Bert Lloyd’s Boyhood’ (1887); ‘The Wreckers of Sable Island’ (1891); ‘Diamond Rock’ (1893); ‘Baffling the Blockade’ (1896); ‘Making his Way’ (1898); ‘Trials and Triumphs’ (1899); ‘North Overland with Franklin’ (1900).
