Parker, John Henry. An English archæologist; born in London in 1806; died in 1884. He was the author of ‘The Archæology of Rome’ (3 vols., 1874–84); ‘Glossary of Architecture’ (1836); ‘Introduction to the Study of Gothic Architecture’ (1849).
