William Ordway Partridge (1861–1930)

Partridge, William Ordway. An American sculptor and writer on art; born at Paris, France, April 11, 1861; died in 1930. He was a resident of Milton, MA, and the author of ‘Art for America’ (1894); ‘The Song Life of a Sculptor’ (1894); ‘The Technique of Sculpture’ (1895); ‘The Angel of Clay’ (1900); ‘The Czar’s Gift’ (1906).
