Peter George Patmore (1786–1855)

Patmore, Peter George. An English miscellaneous writer; born at London, 1786; died on Dec. 19, 1855. He wrote: ‘Imitations of Celebrated Authors, or Imaginary Rejected Articles’ (1826); ‘My Friends and Acquaintances, being Memorials, Mind-Portraits, and Personal Recollections,’ etc. (1854); ‘Marriage in Mayfair,’ a comedy (1854).
