Fernando del Pulgar (1436?–1492)

Pulgar, Fernando del (pöl’gär). A Spanish prose-writer of the latter part of the fifteenth century. He wrote a ‘Chronicle’ of the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella; ‘Notable Men of Castile’; a commentary on the ancient ‘Couplets of Mingo Revulgo.’
