Lyall, Edna, pseudonym of Ada Ellen Bayly. An English novelist; born at Brighton in 1857; died at Eastbourne, Feb. 9, 1903. Among her works are: ‘Won by Waiting’; ‘Donovan’; ‘Autobiography of a Slander’; ‘Knight Errant’; ‘A Hardy Norseman’; ‘In the Golden Days’; ‘We Two’; ‘Derrick Vaughan, Novelist’; ‘Doreen’; etc.
