Hermann Rollett (1819–1904)
Rollett, Hermann (rol’let). An Austrian poet; born near Vienna, Aug. 20, 1819; died on June 20, 1904. He published two collections of ‘Wreaths of Song’ (1842); ‘Wanderings of a Vienna Poet’ (1846); ‘A Sister’ (1847); ‘War Songs’ (1848); ‘Oratorical Poems’ (1871); ‘Narrative Poems’ (1872); and others. An American edition of his writings appeared as ‘Poems from the German of Hermann Rollett.’
