Service, Robert William. A Canadian poet; born at Preston, England, Jan. 16, 1874; died in 1958. He spent many years in the Yukon. His volumes are: ‘Songs of a Sourdough’; ‘Ballads of a Cheechako’; ‘Trail of ’98’; ‘Rhymes of a Rolling Stone’; ‘The Pretender’; ‘Rhymes of a Red Cross Man.’
