Sharp, Dallas Lore. An American author and educator; born at Haleyville, NJ, Dec. 13, 1870; died in 1929. Professor of English at Boston University after 1909. Among his published works were ‘Wild Life Near Home’ (1901); ‘Watcher in the Woods’ (1903); ‘The Lay of the Land’ (1908); ‘The Fall of the Year’ (1911); ‘Beyond the Pasture Bars’ (1914); ‘The Hills of Hingham’ (1916).
