George Robert Sims (1847–1922)

Sims, George Robert. An English dramatist and journalist; born in London, Sept. 2, 1847; died in 1922. He is the author of ‘The Lights o’ London’ (1882); ‘The Romany Rye’ (1883). Some of his contributions to the press are: ‘Dagonet Ballads’ (1879); ‘Three Brass Balls’ (1880); ‘The Theatre of Life’ (1881); ‘How the Poor Live’ (1883); ‘Stories in Black and White’ (1885); ‘Mary Jane’s Memoir’; ‘Scarlet Sin.’
