Jean Terrasson (1670–1750)

Terrasson, Jean (tãr-äs-o‘). A French miscellaneous writer; born at Lyons, 1670; died at Paris, 1750. He wrote ‘Sethos,’ a sort of philosophical novel, which contains some curious details regarding the customs of ancient ‘Justification of the India Company’ (1720).
