Friedrich von Ueberweg (1826–1871)

Ueberweg, Friedrich von (ü’ber-veG). A German philosopher; born in Leichlingen, Jan. 22, 1826; died at Königsberg, June 9, 1871. His chief works are: ‘Outline of the History of Philosophy,’ published in many editions, the first 1863–66; and ‘System of Logic and History of Logical Science.’
