Otto Ule (1820–1876)

Ule, Otto (ö’lė). A German writer on natural science; born at Frankfort on the Oder, Jan. 22, 1820; died at Halle, Aug. 6, 1876. His principal works are: ‘The Universe’ (3 vols., 3d ed. 1859); ‘Wonders of the Starry World’ (1861); ‘Popular Natural Science’ (1865–67); ‘The Earth according to its Superficial Phenomena’ (1873–76).
