Amelia B. Welby (1819–1852)

Welby, Amelia (Coppuck) [“Amelia”]. An American poet; born at St. Michael’s, MD, Feb. 3, 1819; died on May 3, 1852. Her collected poems were published in Boston (1844), in New York (1850), and a final collection after her death, in 1860.
