Ottilie Wildermuth (1817–1877)

Wildermuth, Madame Ottilie (vēl’der-möt). A German novelist; born (Ronschütz) at Rottenburg, Würtemberg, Feb. 22, 1817; died on July 12, 1877. She wrote many novels of home life and stories for the young, among which are: ‘In Daylight’ (1861); ‘Augusta’ (1865); ‘From Mountain and Valley’ (1867); etc. ‘In the Child World’ was published after her death.
