William Youatt (1776–1847)

Youatt, William. An English writer on veterinary subjects; born in 1776; died in London, 1847. He was for many years professor at the Royal Veterinary College, and co-editor of the Veterinarian, established 1828. He published a standard work on ‘The Horse’ (1831), also a book on ‘The Dog’ (1842), and others; all considered of high value in their line.
