Laurence Binyon (1869–1943)

Binyon, Laurence. English poet and official of the British Museum; born at Lancaster, England, Aug. 10, 1869; died in 1943. His poetical volumes are: ‘Lyric Poems’ (1894); ‘Poems’ (1895); ‘London Visions’ (1895–98); ‘The Praise of Life’ (1896); ‘Porphyrion’ (1898); ‘Odes’ (1900); ‘The Death of Adam’ (1903); ‘Penthesilea’ (1905); ‘Paris and Oenone’ (1906); ‘Attila’ (1907).
