Bishop, Nathaniel Holmes. An American traveler; born at Medway, MA, 1837; died in 1902. He wrote: ‘A Thousand Miles’ Walk Across South America’ (1869); ‘Voyage of the Paper Canoe from Quebec to the Gulf of Mexico’; ‘Four Months in a Sneak-Box.’
