Robert Blair (1699–1746)
Blair, Robert. A Scotch poet and clergyman; born in Edinburgh in 1699; died on Feb. 4, 1746. He was ordained minister at Athelstaneford in 1731. His famous poem, ‘The Grave,’ was published in 1743.
