Bouvet, Marguerite (bö-vā’). An American writer for children; born in Louisiana, Feb. 14, 1865; died on June 1, 1915. She wrote: ‘Sweet William’; ‘Prince Tip-Top’; ‘Little Majorie’s Love Story’; ‘Pierrette’; ‘Bernardo and Laurette’; ‘The Fortunes of Clothilde.’
