Abraham Dreyfus (1847–1926)

Dreyfus, Abraham (drā-füs’). A French playwright; born at Paris, June 20, 1847; died in 1926. Among his one-act plays are: ‘A Gentleman in Black’; ‘The Victim’; ‘The Klepht’; ‘A Break.’ His four-act play, ‘The St. Catherine Institution,’ was brought out at the Odéon (1881).
