Alan Dale (1861–1928)

Cohen, Alfred J. [“Alan Dale”]. An American dramatic critic and author; born in Birmingham, England, May 14, 1861; died in 1928. He came to the United States, engaged in journalism in New York, and was dramatic critic for the New York Evening World and the New York Journal. Among his published works are: ‘Jonathan’s Home,’ ‘A Marriage Below Zero,’ ‘My Footlight Husband,’ ‘Miss Innocence,’ ‘A Moral Busybody,’ ‘Conscience on Ice,’ ‘A Girl Who Wrote.’
