Caroline Atherton Mason (1823–1890)

Mason, Caroline Atherton (Briggs). An American verse-writer; born in Marblehead, MA, July 27, 1823; died in 1890. She published ‘Utterance, a Collection of Home Poems’ (1852); and ‘Rose Hamilton,’ a story (1859). Her poems ‘Do They Miss Me at Home?’ and ‘The King’s Quest,’ are widely popular.
