Charles Alexander Eastman (1858–1939)

Eastman, Charles Alexander (Ohiyesa). An American (Sioux Indian) physician, writer, and lecturer; born at Redwood Falls, MN, in 1858; died in 1939. His books are: ‘Indian Boyhood’ (1902); ‘Old Indian Days’ (1907); ‘The Soul of the Indian’ (1911); ‘The Indian To-day’ (1915).
