Félix Gabriel Marchand (1832–1900)

Marchand, Félix Gabriel. A Canadian journalist and dramatist; born at St. John’s, PQ, Jan. 9, 1832; died in 1900. Among his works are the prose-comedies ‘Fatenville’ and ‘Mistakes Don’t Count’; the comedies in verse: ‘One Good Fortune Brings Another’ and ‘The Paste Diamonds’; also a comic opera, ‘The University Laureate.’
