Friedrich Wilhelm Adami (1816–1893)
Adami, Friedrich (ä-dä’mē). A German author; born at Suhl, Oct. 18, 1816; died in Berlin, Aug. 5, 1893. Besides numerous dramatic pieces, prologues, stories, and short novels, he wrote a very popular biography of ‘Louise, Queen of Prussia’ (13th ed. 1890) and ‘The Book of Emperor William’ (1887–90).
