Maurice Donnay (1859–1945)

Donnay, Maurice (don-nā’). A French dramatist; born at Paris, in 1859; died in 1945. Among his more important plays are: ‘Amants’ (1895); ‘L’Affranchie’ (1898); ‘La Bascule’ (1901); ‘L’Autre Danger’ (1901); ‘Le Retour de Jerusalem’ (1903); ‘Menage de Molière’ (1912).
