Matthew
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Matthew vii. 7.

Matthew

The Holy Bible: King James Version

This Gospel includes many Old Testament quotations, thus appealing to a Jewish audience and presenting Jesus as the Messiah promised in the Hebrew Scriptures. Matthew told the story of Jesus from birth to resurrection and placed emphasis on his teaching.
