To define: Behavioral neuroscience, and the way in which it relates to psychology.
Introduction: Neuroscience is the branch of science that deals with structure and function of the nervous system. Psychology is the branch of science that incorporates the behavior, thought, emotion, personality, and motivation.
Behavioral neuroscience deals with the biology and psychology of behavior. It deals with the relationship between behavior and the brain. The behavioral perspective mainly emphasizes the observable, measurable behavior that emphasizes the internal working of the mind. The behavior and the cause of behavior are determined by the neuroscience and psychodynamic approaches. As per the behavioral perspective, behavior can be observed and studied, and it should not be doubted on the basis of internal working of the individual’s mind.
