Christine Mims Heather Craven Active Play 24 February 2024 Foundations for Intentional Math Development Paragraph One - The article: Mathematizing with Toddlers and Coaching Undergraduates: Foundations for Intentional Math Development by Julia Luckenbill written in July 2018. The main
purpose of this article is to create a curriculum for the toddler learners that can be crafted to learning experiences for undergraduate students in preparation for teaching. The toddler classrooms are intellectually rich spaces where children and adults discover many challenges that can match their interest. Implementing a clear understanding of how the undergraduates can scaffold open-ended thinking for toddlers. Closely aligned with the development of mathematical thought. Figuring out how to mathematize a toddler classroom to include how the undergraduates can engage in mathematical talk with the children and ask questions that inspire mathematical thinking. Paragraph Two - The key methodology that is used in this article is that the approach to mathematizing is to be considered a mindset. The key points that were found in the article is that to immerse children in math language we must find a way of teaching that is mindful of math words, concepts, and ways of questioning. Another key point to mathematics is sportscasting; talking aloud using self-talk, parallel talk, and reflective speech to highlight math concepts. Teachers should think openly about mathematics. In addition to counting numbers, teachers can help children think about measurements, patterns, change, and sorting. There are many examples that model how to sportcast math concepts for toddlers. There are 4 key concepts that infants and toddlers must master as a foundation of mathematical knowledge and skill. The concepts are interrelated and build on each other. It begins with awareness of the attributes
of things which allows children to engage in making comparisons, leading to observations of changes, and through recognition of predictable patterns. Paragraph Three: Reflection & Application - The significance of this article is that in order to help the children develop these abilities teachers must speak the language of math. Choosing basic word choices and the gradual shift to more complex questions in conjunction with the child;s development. The teachers sportcast the journey of learning mathematics. When children engage in all subjects and topics everyday. The findings from the article might influence
my teaching my me ensure that there are math toys and equipment that the children can engage in. The understanding of how to effective manage a classroom and figuring out what is important things for the child to learn before the exit that classroom,

Suppose you decide (as did Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg) to start a company. Your product is a software platform that integrates a wide range of media devices, including laptop computers, desktop computers, digital video recorders, and cell phones. Your initial client base is the student body at your university. Once you have established your company and set up procedures for operating it, you plan to expand to other colleges in the area and eventually to go nationwide. At some point, hopefully sooner rather than later, you plan to go public with an IPO and then to buy a yacht and take off for the South Pacific to indulge in your passion for underwater photography. With these plans in mind, you need to answer for yourself, and potential investors, the following questions:
1. Briefly describe the use of stock options in a compensation plan. What are some potential problems with stock options as a form of compensation?
2. Briefly explain how regulatory agencies and legal…
