The U.S. government passed laws intended to provide better healthcare to the Navajo people. These laws did not prevent the U.S. from their traditional healing practices. Module Two Question 3 What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life? I believe in one God and that He sent his one and only son, Jesus, to come down to this earth and bring us into salvation by dying on the cross for our sins. This is what gets me through my day-to-day life because He has blessed me with everything that I have and all that I am. Reading God's word daily helps me better understand what he wants me to do. Module Two Question 4 Adopt the social science perspective to create a list of questions about this issue. Write at least two questions each from the point of view of a psychologist, a sociologist, and an anthropologist. 1. What are some of the mental trauma that some veterans can't get past? 2. What is it that makes veterans think that taking their life is the only option? 3. How did veteran suicide become a problem in recent years? 4. What is society doing to help fix this issue? 5. What can we change about the armed forces culture to better help them when it's time for them to separate from their service?

6. What is the difference from past wars to today that would cause more veterans to take their own lives?
