display
not
only
their
art,
but the
process
of
them
creating
their
works
in
totality.
There
are
potential
dozens
of
reasons
why
art
and
specifically
painted
works
have
grown
in
popularity
in
the
past
ten
years,
but
|
personally
think
that
factors
such
as
money
and
fame
have
very
little
to
do
with
the
rise
of
the
arts.
While
yes,
it
is
great
that
talented
artists
of
the
modern
era
can
not
only
show
off
their
art
to
millions
and
market
their
pieces,
but
I
also
think
it
has
something
to
do
with
the
fact
that
classical
forms
of
art
are
inherently
more
important
to
us as
a
species.
If
we
remove
the
monetary
aspect
of
art
and
focus
purely
on
the
preferences
of
people
viewing
art,
|
believe
that
physical
art
such
as
paintings
will
nearly
always
be
more
valuable
to
the
viewer.
The
photographic
revolution
suffers
from
the
same
issues
that
digital
art
suffers
from.
Photography
has
arguably
become
the
visual
medium
of
the
century
with
the
addition
of
digital
photography.
in
my
opinion
Paul
Delaroche
I
still
wrong.
While
photographic
art
can
be
stunning
it
doesn’t
compare
to
the
creativity
of
painted
works
of
art.
While
photography
has
largely
been
able
to
kill
one
genre
of
painting
(portraits)
it
has
never
been
able
to
effectively
come
close
to
painting
in
any
other
aspect
due
to
the
singular
function
of
photographic
technology.
Overall,
|
believe
that
painting
is
more
alive
than
before
the
20*"
century.
While
both
digital
and
photographic
technologies
have
widened
the
spectrum
of
what
art
can
be,
they
don't
have
the
same
charisma
as
that
of
physical
paintings.
They
also
lack
a
sense
of
originality
in
many
aspects
due
to
the
nature
of
the
technology
being
used.

Dear
Jamel,
Thanks
so
much
for
your
discussion.
Please
note
that
you
did
not
provide
a
detailed,
complete,
and
thoughtful
discussion
about
the
question.
Best
