2 Social science is the study of our society and other societies across the world. By studying human societies. It assists us in understanding economics, politics, history, ethnic studies, and relationships between individuals and institutions. Social science is broad and very diverse regarding the collection in academics. However, research will show similarities to the natural science lens, accomplished using the scientific method. Social science will enable sensitivity, flexibility, and positivity in societies, bringing them closer than they used to be. Looking through the natural science lens, one will note that it studies the natural and physical world. Therefore, scientists in ecology, physics, and astronomy use the scientific method as a guide to assist them when researching. The facts must be considered when using the scientific method since natural science employs the scientific method, which consists of asking questions and hypotheses, testing the hypothesis through experiments, testing results, and proposing new questions or concluding. Humanities are constantly evolving and reformulating their objectives. Allowing us to use them as guides when researching past eras, such as Romans, Greeks, etc., one will notice they continuously change. The humanities lens assists us with the ability to view the parallels and the various distinctions present in the study of languages, ethics, and arts around the globe from many civilizations. One might notice that the humanities and social lenses are used with the history lens by viewing how societies, languages, and economics have changed or why they chose to adapt certain ideals. History itself is fascinating and eye-opening; it allows us to look through the lens of history. One can see how everything has changed: past, present, and future. When analyzing a situation in the current or future timeline, one may look upon the past and find a possible
3 solution. Trying to understand our privileges within today’s society may be confusing. Studying records, diaries, and historical events would provide us with information that would greatly assist with understanding our privileges within today’s society. When conducting these studies, one’s perspective may be widened on why change is necessary for humankind to evolve; and that innovation is vital for the survival of humanity. Climate change is a susceptible subject, especially from a political perspective. Due to the presence and activities of humans on the planet, the earth is warming up at an unprecedented rate. While the sun has played a role in climate change, the emissions from humans trapped in the atmosphere are slowing heat loss to space. However, many questions remain when researching and discussing climate change. Scientists are constantly researching, experimenting, and studying possibilities to assist in decelerating the pace of climate change and finding a solution. There are many ways that scientists have found that would help protect the environment and living both current and future. To name a few, renewable energy usage, our energy efficiency, support the communities where NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) conducts their business with growth economically and livability, and to conserves the environment surrounding humankind. With the discovery of climate change, scientists across the globe have noticed that the planet is heating up, which causes detrimental effects on the earth's habitats. With sea levels rising, icy climates have started to melt, droughts are happening, and Animal species are migrating to other areas, which, if not applicable to those climates, cannot survive and could eventually become extinct. Using my understanding and knowledge of climate change, I would like to expand my knowledge regarding the economic impact and why humanity will not agree and come together
