Wk10 Study: Elder Andersen and Elder Christofferson
Life and Testimony of Elder Neil L. Andersen Elder Neil L. Andersen came into the world on August 9, 1951, to parents who were outstanding.
He was brought up by them, and they were just as wonderful as he said they were. Elder Andersen received instruction throughout his childhood on how to love and rely on the Savior, as well as trust in him. After completing his full-time mission in France, he returned to his studies at the university where he had previously been enrolled. While he was a student at BYU, he met up with Kathy, who would eventually become his wife. They chose the Salt Lake Temple as the location for their wedding on March 20th, 1975. They were blessed with offspring, and they instilled in them a love for the Lord. Before being consecrated as an apostle on May 18, 2009, Elder Neil L. Andersen served in a variety of callings within the LDS Church, including those of bishop, mission president, and seventy. Even with all of his obligations, he manages to be a wonderful parent to his children. He shows love and kindness to his wife, and he has encouraged his children to do the same with their own partners. Elder Neil L. Andersen is a wonderful example of a humble and powerful apostle of Jesus Christ. He is also a devoted father. Word Count: 219 Testimony Paragraph Elder Neil L. Andersen gave testimony regarding the Nauvoo saints and their temple. He also spoke about Nauvoo and how the Christians went there with great faith and hope. Unfortunately, they had to leave their magnificent homes and, most significantly, their temple after a period of time. Elder Andersen recalled how the saints abandoned all of their possessions to face the unknown, but they had enormous confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ, and it was that faith that kept them going. He testified about the remarkable faith of these saints and how we are enjoying the immense sacrifice made by his people. Elder Andersen also spoke of the Savior and His unconditional love for all of His children. He bore
witness to the magnificent work of salvation instituted by our Redeemer through His Father. He attested to the Godhead's divinity and their mission to save mankind. Elder Andersen expresses his profound love
for our Lord Jesus Christ and His mission on earth. Word Count: 162 Life and Testimony of Elder Christofferson Elder Christofferson is another apostle who has had a significant impact on my life. One part of his life that I find admirable is his dedication to the everlasting family. He has done a lot of writing and given a lot of public talks on the subject of the significance of marriage and family in God's plans. He made it quite obvious that the two most significant reasons for the importance of families are love and learning. I take heart from his determination to not only start a family of his own but also to educate others about the significance of the traditional nuclear family unit. Elder Christofferson has also written extensively and given numerous speeches on the subject of the significance of being a missionary. He brings to our attention the fact that devoted followers of Jesus Christ have embarked on perilous missions throughout the course of history and will continue to do so in the future. I want to thank him for his leadership and the lessons he has instilled in my generation in helping us understand the importance of family and look forward to implement them in my own life with my wife and children.

Testimony Paragraph
I love Elder Christoffersons testimony especially about the divine mission of Joseph Smith. That on his life was filled with many trials, tribulations, and hardships, he followed the will of the Lord in order to restore the true church back on the earth again. He testified of the powers that were restored when Joseph Smith was called as a prophet as well as later on when the power of the
