2 Educator as Servant Leader: Living and Modeling a Christian Worldview as a Reflective Practitioner Learner Development, Learning Differences Work between the students and teacher to develop practices that measure the progression of knowledge obtained through structural techniques refers to learners’ development. The reality that most student learn uniquely than others is all that establishes learning differences. This is a frequent cause of student not learning the same. Professional Knowledge Base – Learner Development Teachers should become familiar with the stages of growth of the students they are instructing. The teachers understand how learns grow and develop, recognizing the patterns of learning, and development vary individually within and across cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical, areas and designs and implements developmentally appropriate, and challenging learning experiences (Education of Central College). Teachers must recognize that learning and development differs between students. Each student brings a distinctive personal difference to the educational process, and those students need a secure and nurturing learning environment to flourish. Teachers do this by ensuring that every student acquire new abilities and skills. Research has indicated that experts' subject matter knowledge structures (SMKSs) differ from those of novices in that they contain more cross-linking, interconnections, and overarching thematic elements, characteristics that are in accordance with those espoused in current reform documents. (Bartos, 2014) Teachers will utilize a wide range of data to ensure they have a complete understanding of the students they educate. The teacher is aware of how learning take
3 place. The teacher also is aware of how student build information, gain abilities and establish structured thinking patterns and know how to employ instruction to support student achievement. Teachers should be conscious of the social and emotional aspects that might affect the students and their learning. There is not enough evidence to conclude if job satisfaction among educators raises student accomplishments or if benefits of having instructors change depending on the overall school culture. Today’s teachers must impart knowledge to pupils with various leaning styles and cultural backgrounds. To accommodate a wide range of students it is crucial to be able to differentiate instruction. Application to Practice – Learner Development The classroom teacher is well-versed and comprehends the growth of the students. Due to not all students learning the same it is crucial for students to receive differentiat4e instruction while making sure their unique learning styles are also presented. The teachers are familiar with the norms of society and culture prevalent in the neighborhood where the students attend school. The environment is crucial. Environment is a wide, all-encompassing concepts that can be used in the academic setting. Professional Knowledge Base – Learning Differences It is well known that no students learn in the same manner. Teachers should modify their lesson for the needs of the students. Common learning differences exist. They affect concentration, reading, math, and science abilities. Despite the persistent difficulties, students can however succeed. To make sure that every student understands the standard/ objective teachers will utilize the adequate resources. This can be effectively done by using proactive strategy using student
